Default looking to start bodybuilding

hi, ive been at the gym now for around a month now just trying to get into shape but im interested in doing bodybuilding... im nineteen years of age and im wondering have i left it too late now to try and start getting myself into shape? also if anyone could help me as to what kind of diet would be best to help me get off the ground with the process of bodybuilding... any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

no your not too old for anything inlife lol. but im gonna need to know how much you weight to help you with how much to eat and when to eat the food

currently i weigh twelve and a half stone just checked there now! i eat a mainly healthy diet just to look after myself fruit veg etc... should i also start to take any sort of protein or strengthing supplement to help get me started also?

well yes you weigh 12 an a half stone so you need at least 3,150 calories to gain weight and to add more mass and size, you may buy a protein supplement and then later down the road you can get other supplements as you begin to advance. you need to consume at least 262.5 grams of protein along with 350 grams of carbs and 70 grams of the good fats, olive oil, peanuts, whole eggs as well. once you got your calories up you should be good, but slowly increase you calorie intake up to 3,150 calories, if you have anymore questions please do ask.

What do you mean by being too old? – I think however that you’ve the correct age.
I’m convinced of starting too young is not particularly good for your body.
So welcome!
Just one advice. There’s usually a coach – use him often so you’ll perform the exercises correctly.

This is probably the part where most bodybuilders are interested in because they are constantly looking for the magic bullet. But everyone forgets that it is really hard work and discipline that gets you results.
